Forming Processes

Cold Pressing
This technique capitalizes on the plastic deformation ability of metals. By applying pressure, it flattens tiny convex protrusions on the workpiece surface, effectively lowering surface roughness. High pressure is introduced into the mold cavity to create tightly compacted blanks, with processes like surface rolling and extrusion included. It works well with materials such as polycarbonate and polypropylene. Notably, cold pressing can significantly enhance the material's tensile strength and elastic modulus.

Forging
Begin by choosing suitable metal materials and carrying out pretreatment steps like cutting and cleaning. The metal blank is then heated to a specific temperature to boost its plasticity and reduce deformation resistance. Under the impact or pressure from forging hammers or presses, the blank flows plastically within the mold to take shape (metal can deform freely in all directions under such forces). Forgings made using special molds have precise dimensions. After forging, the workpiece is cooled to fix its shape and performance, and subsequent heat treatment, machining, and surface treatment further improve its performance and accuracy.

Mandrel Forming
Design the mandrel's shape and size based on processing needs, then use precision methods like turning and grinding to produce high-precision mandrels. Mount the mandrel on equipment such as lathes or grinders and adjust it to ensure stable support for the workpiece. When processing thin-walled metal pipes, inserting a mandrel into the pipe's inner cavity provides radial support, preventing deformation during turning and enabling high-precision manufacturing.

Size Ranges

Seamless 90° Short Radius Elbow (DN15 - DN600)
Seamless 90° short radius elbows are usually crafted from high-quality carbon steel, stainless steel, or alloy steel, using processes like hot pushing and forging. They feature dense structures, high strength, and strong corrosion resistance, making them ideal for high-pressure, high-temperature pipeline systems and those with strict requirements for medium purity.

Welded 90° Short Radius Elbow (DN15 - DN1200)
Welded 90° short radius elbows are formed by welding steel plates or coiled pipes. The production process is flexible and cost-effective, allowing for the manufacturing of larger-diameter products. They are widely used in low-pressure, large-diameter pipelines for transporting water, gas, oil, and other media.
